Change is Coming: The Fibromyalgia Podcast

May 7, 2019

Do you ever listen to podcasts? This is something I’ve really gotten into lately.

If you’re not familiar, podcasts are like talk radio shows you can listen to anytime, anywhere, and on any device. There are SO many different kinds of podcasts! I’ve been listening to ones on communication, business building, coaching, personal development, health & wellness, even true murder mysteries (thank you Michael Connelly!), and fiction! It’s amazing — and that’s just the list of what I’ve been listening to. Truly, you can find a podcast on anything you want to learn more about!

I’ve learned SO much over the last couple months, listening to podcasts instead of the radio in my car. I also listen when I’m getting dressed in the morning, when I’m getting ready for bed at night, and…. when I’m stuck lying there on the floor for 10 minutes doing the neck stretch my chiropractor is making me do. 😁

But you know what topic I DON’T see very much of?  Fibromyalgia!

Don’t get me wrong, there are a few shows and individual episodes on fibromyalgia. Most are patient stories or one-off episodes as part of a larger topic, such as medical school or chronic illness podcasts. I also don’t see any who are featuring our top researchers, advocates, and providers.

It’s time to change this!

Welcome to the Fibromyalgia Podcast!

I am super excited to announce that the Fibromyalgia Podcast will be launching in less than two weeks, on Tuesday, March 26.

Today, I am inviting you to join my Fibromyalgia Podcast Launch Team to get the inside scoop early!

I don’t know about you, but I LOVE being in-the-know before anyone else.

My Podcast Launch Team will get exactly that: early access to all the goodness before our official launch on March 26! You also get to help me out in a BIG way.

What is a Podcast Launch Team, you ask?

Let me tell you!

This is a special group of people who will:

  • Join a private group on Facebook where you get all the goods FIRST.
  • Hear the episodes before anyone else.
  • See the interview guest list before interviews are published.
  • Get access to podcast graphics and images for sharing.
  • Help promote the podcast by sharing on social media.
  • Provide feedback on episodes, topics, and interview guests.
  • Submit questions for the first Ask the Coach episode.
  • Have exclusive opportunities to win prizes and goodies.
  • Win my undying love and affection.  Really! =)

To join the fun, visit FibromyalgiaPodcast.com.

BTW — I know some of you will ask… If you want to help promote the podcast without being in the group, you absolutely can. However, the Facebook group is the only place where I will be posting the episodes early, as well as providing graphics, and so on. I absolutely welcome your support, whether you join the group or not!

I’m SO excited to share this new journey with you!
