Self care is so important to help you live as well as possible with fibromyalgia. I have a theory on why fibromyalgia affects so many more women than men. I believe it’s because women tend to take care of everyone else before we take care of ourselves. Saying no and asking for help are two great ways to honor your body when you have fibromyalgia. They’re two of the hardest lessons to learn; however, they’re the ones that will make the biggest difference in how you feel and how quickly you heal. Besides, if we don’t take care of ourselves first, we’ll have nothing left to give anyone else
